Playing golf
Let’s start with the obvious: golf. I got into golf at an early age. Growing up, I was that kid on the course every weekend, borrowing golf clubs that were too big for me and trying to figure out the perfect swing. Outside of hitting golf balls, some of my favorite things were hearing about golf stories told by random people.
The hacker who would blame his clubs. Or the guy who always has an excuse as to why he didn’t perform.
Eventually, my dad told me better stories: Fascinating tales about old professional golfers. I was very intrigued.
Creating content
As time went on, playing golf took a back seat, and my game stagnated due to a lack of practice. As I got older, what consumed me more than playing was reading about it—the old tales of a different time and, honestly, a different world.
The main reason I started this brand was because of George Knudson. Not because I had known him (he was long gone) but because I couldn’t find any documentary-type video on George or his life. There was a book he co-wrote, but nothing else.
So I decided to make my own. The rest, as they say, is history. I realized that not only did I enjoy telling these golf stories, but I loved making the videos too.
Why do I make content?
The reason as to why I make these videos is simple. I do it to give these professionals a proper video and keep their legacy alive to the best of my ability. It’s why you’ll keep seeing new content as the days and years go by. Videos which I hope you enjoy.
